HELP DESK TEAM MEMBER AUDITION

Self Tapes are due by Midnight on Monday April 15th

TECHNICAL SELF-TAPE INSTRUCTIONS

RECORDING DEVICE / FRAMING:
  • You can record your self-taped audition on a cell phone camera, you do not need a fancy camera.
  • Your phone or camera should record in the landscape / horizontal position (Sideways)
  • Please do NOT leave excessive empty space between your head and the top of the frame or feet and the bottom.
  • For the Slate please frame yourself up so we can see you from the waist up. (noted again below)

LIGHTING / AUDIO:
  • Record your audition in a well-lit area. Soft and/or natural light is preferred.
  • Your light source should come from behind the camera, not from behind you, otherwise we will only see your silhouette.

LOCATION:
  • Record in an uncluttered area where we can see you clearly. Ideally against a neutral backdrop.
  • Avoid loud or noisy areas (i.e. fans, street noise, etc.).

WARDROBE:
  • Business Casual Clothing. No bold logos, small patterns, stripes, sunglasses or hats.

HELP DESK TECHNICIAN SCENE:

Help Desk Tech is sitting at another employees desk staring intently at a computer screen.
The employee is having an issue that the Help Desk Tech is trying to solve.

Help Desk Technician
"I'm not seeing a certificate issue so far, but you have a ton of files saved locally.  What was your initial concern?"

Stu:
I keep receiving notifications that my certificates have expired and require updates. Although I've followed the steps multiple times and received "successful" messages, and yet…the notifications,  Keep. On. Coming. (sigh)

Help Desk Technician
"Have you had any issues with being able to access any apps or tooling?"

Stu:
Not that I’ve noticed. I’ve gone through the process several times and it hasn’t worked.

Help Desk Tech leaning in, typing looking

I’m supposed to be in a meeting now. Any issue with me leaving this and circling back?

Help Desk Technician
"Yeah, yeah. That’ll work….. (comments under breath) That's interesting…(hmph)...
I think I'm going to escalate and loop in one of our Engagement security team members for an assist on this one.
Check back in when you’re done.
Oh, and just one more question before you go – do you remember downloading anything unusual out of the ordinary recently?"
