INVESTIGATOR AUDITION

Self Tapes are due by Midnight on Monday April 15th

TECHNICAL SELF-TAPE INSTRUCTIONS

RECORDING DEVICE / FRAMING:
  • You can record your self-taped audition on a cell phone camera, you do not need a fancy camera.
  • Your phone or camera should record in the landscape / horizontal position (Sideways)
  • Please do NOT leave excessive empty space between your head and the top of the frame or feet and the bottom.
  • For the Slate please frame yourself up so we can see you from the waist up. (noted again below)

LIGHTING / AUDIO:
  • Record your audition in a well-lit area. Soft and/or natural light is preferred.
  • Your light source should come from behind the camera, not from behind you, otherwise we will only see your silhouette.

LOCATION:
  • Record in an uncluttered area where we can see you clearly. Ideally against a neutral backdrop.
  • Avoid loud or noisy areas (i.e. fans, street noise, etc.).

WARDROBE:
  • Business Casual Clothing. No bold logos, small patterns, stripes, sunglasses or hats.

SLATE / INTRODUCTION VIDEO

Frame yourself in camera so you can be seen from head to toe. If you don't have room for head to toe, just get as much of you into frame as possible.
Please do not give an excessive amount of headroom in the frame.
Look directly into the camera and answer the below
1. What is your full name?
2. How tall are you?
3. Where are you located?
4. Are you represented by a talent agent? If so, who?
6. If you have any unique hobbies please let us about them. Otherwise skip this question.  (ie juggling, yodeling, etc.)
7. Do you have any visible tattoos (arms, hands, calves, neck, etc.). If so, please show them to us.

After you answer all questions smile with your teeth and then show us your side profiles (turn to the right and pause, then turn to the left and pause)

You are sitting at a desk talking to a coworker slightly off camera. Drops papers on the table, sits back in the chair.

INVESTIGATOR:

"This is unbelievable!

We’ve been able to confirm that “Mary” has been targeting individuals who present as vulnerable or susceptible to social engineering tactics, and has been using tactics we don’t typically see –  to mask her activities and involvement.
Like many operators or malicious actors, it appears that she conducted her own reconnaissance to determine her target’s price for exploitation.

As soon as the last report came in, “Mary Collins” vanished. However we believe we have evidence that she is still routinely impersonating as a consultant but with a new alias, “Keri Rollins”. She is targeting Flux personnel through professional networking sites, earning their trust, bypassing their skepticism.
First, she tried to get a Product Manager in Virtual Labs to approve an invoice with an unusually high expedited shipping fee.
Then Silicon Pros sent another suspicious invoice to the same team. They wanted a $12,000 pre-payment for organizing a government roundtable. Those were definitely red flags.

Fortunately, our first line of defense was on it. The employees’ early reporting helped us avoid getting tangled up in Silicon Pros’ potential corruption..
…But now [points to her monitor]

There’s another third party that’s trying to get employees and contingent workers to approve large suspicious payments."

PHOTO SUBMISSION

Please prepare the below photos and upload them using the form linked at the bottom of this page.

NO PHOTOS WITH HATS, SUNGLASSES OR FILTERS

1-2 Headshots: This does not have to be a professional headshot. Any recent, nice quality photo that reflects your current look will work. If you have professional headshots, feel free to include them. No hats, sunglasses, or filters.

2. Smiling Picture: Please take a picture TODAY (day you record your audition) of you smiling and looking at the camera from the chest up

3. Full Body Photos: Please take 2 full body pictures TODAY (day you record your audition). One facing the camera and one facing to the side.
