If you have glasses on, please take them off briefly and smile. After you answer all questions smile with your teeth and then show us your side profiles.
SCENES:
Frame yourself in camera so you can be seen from the chest up. All of these scenes are non-verbal, we really need to see how you can express these subtle emotions with your face and eyes. We are looking for performances that feel genuine and authentic, nothing over dramatic or cheesy, we want to honor these real life experiences by portraying them realistically.
SCENE 1: PRE CLIMB: (No hat in this scene)
Molly is on a high school mountaineering trip with her classmates. She is an experienced climber. They have just gotten off the bus and everyone is prepping their gear and getting ready to hike up. Molly is passing out equipment to new kids, encouraging them. She is authoritative but kind.

SCENE 2: VOLUNTEER(WEAR A BEANIE FOR THIS SCENE)
Molly and the group have gotten caught in a snow storm and are in a snow cave trying to get warm and stay shielded from the elements. She is cold but calm under pressure, perceptive of everything. Their guide says he is going down the mountain to see if he can find help and she bravely raises her hand to volunteer to go with him.
Cut to her and the guide hiking down the mountain, freezing, exhausted and nervous when suddenly they see the lodge, she is relieved.

SCENE 3: LODGE (BEANIE)
After Molly has escaped the storm and is back at the lodge she is almost in shock. She is bewildered by everything happening around her, your parents, the press, search and rescue, but she tries her best.
Show us :15-20 of her sitting in the lodge taking in everything that is happening around her, nodding as someone talks to her but struggling due to being in shock.
