We are casting a video spot for RecycleOn Oregon that will be filmed in Seattle, WA in late September. We are casting a native Spanish speakers in Portland, Los Angeles and San Diego for the Spanish version of this campaign. Travel, lodging and per diem will be provided for talent traveling in from outside of the Seattle area.

Appearing ages 30-55 years old
Pedro is an eco-conscious dad driven by boundless enthusiasm. Right now. that enthusiasm is focused on recycling! He’s a little eccentric but his heart is in the right place. Once he becomes interested in something that becomes his whole life for a couple months. We see Pedro telling his neighbor allll about recycling when he comes over simply to borrow a tool. It's a bit on the "conspiracy theory" level, but without any hints of insanity. Pedro is completely harmless and well meaning.
Despite all the silliness of the script, we want this character to feel lived-in and relatable.
The comedy should stay grounded and avoid swerving into broad caricature. We’re looking for
interesting choices and small comedic beats in reactions, facial expressions and inflections.
Talent who submit for this role will ALSO be considered for the Neighbor role. There is no specific audition for the role of Neighbor.
